" Freight is Great ".......from Starlight Express"

We were blessed with wonderful sunshine today, not cold and not windy. Wow - what a surprise. Matthew was in good form and as usual we went to Creech St Michael to watch High Speed trains go under the bridge as they travelled from Taunton up to Bristol and beyond. This shot was a huge bonus with so many wagons, seemed to go on and on.

Then he asked about what joined the wheels together and Mr A told him they were bogies. He wouldn't believe him, insisting we were having a laugh. But when he finally realised we were serious, he couldn't stop laughing, looking forward to sharing it with his Carers at Longrun.

Then on to the local garden centre to do the usual, coffee and cake, and all too soon we took him back. We wont see him now until 23 December when he comes home for Christmas.

Redflash gave us a piece of the pre-Christmas cake to give him, so he was looking forward to that for his dessert.

This afternoon, we have cleaned the lounge, moved all the furniture around to accommodate the new large Christmas tree. Mr A had bought some new lights but unfortunately, we dont like them as they're too bright and not controllable. What a waste of money. So the old ones are softer and back again.

Now feel shattered, yesterday catching up and looking forward to resting in bed. Thankyou for all the lovely comments on my recent blips. You are a wonderful bunch of people and a great support.

I hope you have all enjoyed a special time this weekend, and hopefully will be blessed in the days to come. Treasure each day and try and laugh at something as you do. Laughing is good for you, crying is not!!
