Florence Was Colder

Brrrrrrrrr!
We took a trip to Florence today to hang out with our good friends S and B. B was turning 30 this week, so it was a surprise birthday party for him. While my boyfriend J and B went out to Eugene to distract B from the house, S and I went to work at setting up the house, baking cupcakes and pretty much being nerds for a few hours before folks began to show up.

I don't know HOW B never figured it out! But he didn't and it was a successful, fun and awesome surprise birthday party evening. Lots of card games, pizza, amazing food some people brought and laughter. :) It was nice to get out of the house.

The drive to Florence wasn't bad either!
