Reno 2

My dear Co Blippers, I am amazed and very happy that my more or less emergency blip of yesterday got so many views and so many very kind and personal comments. Thank you all!
It was an emergency blip as I had been at home all day preparing a little party that we were going to have today, so since Friday evening I had been planning, cooking, preparing, picking up etc. Most of you will know such days. But it was fun, some nice music in the background and a husband who lovingly helped with everything that I could not get done alone.
Now the party is over, it was a very nice meeting to celebrate the second Advent, everybody had fun and we all ate and drank too much…
After 3 o'clock I took Maggie for a walk. There is still this thick layer of powdery snow on everything, the temperature is very low, 22 F was max, now it is more like 8 degrees F; it bit in the cheeks, so to say, and we caught the last light over the city and the mountains, starting out more yellow and turning into pink in the end. As I had to play tug and throw with Maggie a lot, my picture harvest was not that big.
I still hope you will enjoy the colors. (In the mountains in the background up high, there is a prison, the Desert Research Institute and many buildings of Truckee Meadows Community College, where I used to teach for 3 years)
I wish all of you a good week without storms!
