A very quiet sort of a day after another night of son A throwing up. He's the kind of a kid who likes to be close to others when not feeling well. I hope he's better tomorrow but we'll stay at home for sure.

This little creek close to our home is as far as me & daughter H got today. She's so much fun to spend time with. She kept pointing me spots insisting to take pictures before she breaks any icicles. Anyhow, combining ice and flowing water has turned out to be a challenge for me. Hardly any of my pictures felt quite right. I just didn't know how to combine the crispness and formations of ice and the flow of water in one image. A start of another little photographic journey to find a way that feels right?
