Boo today we left Christiane's and Germany and headed back to England. We enjoyed a lovely family breakfast (which makes me wish for a big family table when we move into our 'forever' house) then hit the road at a good time, ready to enjoy the rest of our Jo Nesbo audiobook.

Charlie was as good as gold, as usual, and slept a lot of the way. He woke for food so we stopped at a services in Belgium to feed him, then it was back on the road and more snooze time.

He woke again when we got to Calais and the Eurotunnel entrance so we let him drive for a bit ;)

The worst part of the journey was the last 30 minutes being only 5 miles from home but stuck in crappy London traffic. Charlie started crying, finally fed up of the inside of the car, so we sang the rest of the way home. Singing stops him crying immediately. I love that my baby has no idea how bad I sound.
