Heavy Weather Pitons

Goodness, what a difference a day makes! Today, it is bucketing rain, and we are swathed in fog and somber clouds.

Thirty five years ago, it was our wedding day, and the weather was quite similar ... pouring rain from morning to evening, and then it turned to snow! At least I don't think we can expect the snow portion today.

This morning, we went out on a whale watch (what weather for such an adventure!), but sadly didn't see a single thing, other than a few flying fish. I guess the whales were hiding from the lashing rain as we should have been doing!

Today's challenge is "Apex" -- so here are two of them, cloaked in curtains of rain and gloom. They are still absolutely beautiful, though.
