Kinkell Bridge
Out and about again today on a surgery tour going from Perth to Kinross to Auchterarder to Crieff. Kinkell Bridge is on one of the back roads from Auchterarder to Crieff and is in an area with (to my ears anyway) very Tolkienesque place names. As well as Kinkell Bridge, quite close by there's Trinity Gask, Findo Gask and Clathy.
The 'Gasks' are of course on the Gask ridge, which is peppered with the remains of Roman watchtowers and forts on the road up to Perth.
It wasn't a wonderful day today, but Sod's law dictated that there was a very bright, low sun which meant my photographs had to be taken from one direction only. I daresay a better photographer would have been able to adjust settings to suit :-)
