Six Gulls a-Laying?

I spotted these gulls by the Tyne in Hexham this morning. The river was particularly high after the heavy rain yesterday and overnight. I was wishing I'd had a longer lens with me as there had been quite a row of them but typically the closer I walked the fewer stayed to pose.
