Dance of the Snowploughs

The storm prevented my colleague from leaving yesterday so we had a pleasant last evening in Berlin, eating Italian food and wandering back under the Christmas illuminations, dodging the odd Christmas tree being blown along the road.
Up early the next morning and flew Berlin to Arlanda (Stockholm).
Took this picture to show how you keep an airport running when it snows. Here there were 7 BIG snowploughs lined up slightly to one side of the one in front. The first plough clears, the second plough clears the line of snow left by the first + it's own area, the third... well you get the picture.
Once I saw 15 ploughs doing this trick, one sweep down the runway and it's clear for landing.
