Edinburgh and a tribute to Nelson Mandela

After yesterday's wind-induced travel problems, we set off en voiture to Edinburgh and arrived in plenty of time to experience the Christmas market before going to the touring theatre production of the Lion King with most of the family.
At the end of the show, the black South African actors came to the front of the stage and told the audience what Nelson Mandela had done for their country and for them. They then burst into a beautiful song and the whole audience was on their feet in recognition of this moving tribute. A very memorable evening.
