New Book

I'm afraid I have returned to the Pratchett theme again so soon.

It's not easy to find nice things to Blip when you have only been out of the house twice in six weeks, excluding GP/hospital appointments and an emergency hurl in an ambulance.

To cap it all I seem to have caught a cold. How can you manage that when you don't go out? I ask you!

It seems like I have been off work for absolute months but I only got out of SRI last time a fortnight ago.

I really haven't much to show for my time off either, as much of it I have not been up to anything, with the exception of a foray into the world of Discworld and it's creator Terry Pratchett. I am totally hooked.

I just started this book, Guards! Guards!, this morning. It's book eight in the Discworld series and a "starter" novel being the first in the "Watch" story line.

You really have to read them all in the correct order but as long as you stick to the order of publication then you can't go wrong and it also breaks the story lines up nicely.
