The Snowball Tree

What a difference a day makes....we ended up with about 5-6 inches of snow by about 4:00 this morning.... yesterday was horrendous! Not for us, because we stayed home, but there were massive pile-ups on every major expressway around the city! The largest involved some 60 cars/trucks, but there were many more that involved anywhere from 1 to 20 vehicles! At last count there were 3 people killed, & a great many people that were taken to the hospitals! According to the news there were terrible white-outs all over, which was the cause of so many of the accidents! Those poor people! Today, the sun is shining, the skies are clear and blue, & the roads, for the most part, are clear! Much of the snow has melted off the trees too, but I saw this big group of evergreens in the park--they all looked like huge "Snowball" trees! Doesn't it look like you could just reach up & grab one off the branches, all ready-made to throw at someone? Of all days to leave my target husband at home! Ha!
