Greenwich Park at Sunset

We decided to walk away from the internet and social media and enjoy what Sunday we had left on foot. So we walked up to Blackheath and caught the beginning of the sunset. From there we wandered over to Greenwich Park (always a favourite) and enjoyed the familiar (but never boring) view over the Isle of Dogs. Needless to say with a sky like that it was incredibly busy!

We plodded down the hill after enjoying some crazy dogs running about, before hitting the river as the sun ran out. I love it down there, whatever the season. The walk had just the desired effect - we both felt much more human, much more fully alive. One day next year we'll walk a similar route with our first dog. I'm looking forward to it!
