Snowflake

Made by my own fair hand!

Tonight was the last Scout meeting of the term so I decided to go with a Xmas theme and the highlight was making these 3D snowflakes .They are actually pretty simple-6 pieces of plain paper and some tape and staples.I was very Blue Peter preparing all the stages of assembly so they could see practically how it came together.

All went well and everyone managed to make one and they were especially reassured when I reminded them that each snowflake is unique!

More fun was had playing Xmas charades ,but by far the favourite was the paper indoor snowball fight they had at the end using the spare pieces of paper left over form snowflakes construction!The simple things are often the best!
