Making a right ganache...
...of it.
Sure it would have been easier to melt the chocolate, then add the cream - or even warm the cream then add the chocolate. But have faith in the recipe...
I knew 600g of chocolate and 600ml of cream sounded a bit much. And I was right. Enough to cover two cakes - only baked one. Will have to bake another cake tomorrow and find some willing subjects to eat it all. I like to bake, but don't want to end up the size of a house!
