Wind storm

Where we live on Cape Otway the wind roars. Traveling thousands of kilometers from the Antarctic across the southern ocean there is nothing to slow down the shrieking of the atmosphere as it slams into the Cape.

In spring the banshee is particularly fierce. The trees moan, branches break and wildlife struggles to hold on. Already two baby koalas separated by their mother's in these storms have been brought to us. We watched this big male amongst the gum trees on a break from work this afternoon.
