Toots in Solitude

Sunny side of the street

A walk along the road to the woods with Donald and Luke and the evening glow of light painting the landscape in soft warm hues and stark silhouettes, dependant on where the light falls. It was certainly like a mild, autumnal day.

Once in a stark, dark part of my life, my sunny side of the street was that I was able to live in a great flat in The Pleasance and all I had to contribute instead of rent was to turn up once a month in The Traverse and hand over to Jerry a bottle of red wine. That was all. He was generous and a likeable person with lots of character. I wonder if he's still around. Mind you, I did have to keep the Bailiffs from the door, ha ha, not really.
