I'm baaa-ack

Here's Elvis!! Isn't he just the most gorgeous kookaburra in the whole of South Australia.

He was really sweet this morning. Priscilla was there for her mince, and a magpie came down to try and get it off her. Elvis was having none of that, and bombarded the magpie until it retired in disgrace.

No sign of any babies. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The nest (if there is one) will be high up in the branches of the gum tree just over the back fence.
