Train spotting

Yep, a lonely chair beside the railway line. I might have shifted it slightly in the interests of composition but I didn't put it there ;-)

My day. Up and off to work on my bike. I slowed down slightly through Riccarton Bush beside the Avon River to spot my resident trout (elsewhere today).

Lots of finicky back-work on our online maps.

Biked home. Spotted said chair above. Cursory tidy up (new attempt to reduce end of week domestics).

Quick wander on the hills to break in my new tramping boots. Hmmm, I think they need another stretch.

Thinking of Mum who soldiers on with such courage. Now awaiting phone call with my sister.
