Rememberance

Early blip today of the iced leaves of an escallonia. Later today I shall be at the funeral of a friend's husband who he had been desperately ill during the last few months of his life. Whilst I can't say it's something I'm looking forward to I know she will have planned it beautifully, as only she can, and it will be a fitting tribute to a lovely Welshman called Dai.
The fact that it coincides with the memorial service to another great man, Nelson Mandela, makes it even more poignant.
