A Little Light Dusting

I have the day off, though I will be working this evening, and I thought it was time to revisit my project. This pine sits in a corner of the yard. It is well shaped, healthy and doesn't drop a thousand more leaves into the yard. Basically it gets ignored. But last night we had a light snowfall, just enough to cover the ground and leave a gracious gown of snow on this charmer. The oak in front of it has a serious case of moss and the barely seen walnut tree behind it, a gift from the neighborhood squirrels, can barely be made out against the solid bank of clouds. Today will be grey, cold and wintry, but this little pine will offer its bit a beauty to the day.
