Just Hanging Around

A day of waiting for news from the hospital, as some complications meant our daughter had to have a blood transfusion. All these years of being a blood donor myself had their reward when someone else's donation saved the day.

She is doing well now, so we felt able to go out and choose a Christmas tree from a nearby farm, which hangs them from the roof of a barn to make it easier to get a good view of the shape. Unfortunately it also means they twirl in the breeze, hence the blurring!

Did I choose one of these? Of course not! I went for a fresher one that hadn't yet been hung! The decorations will go up tomorrow when the tree has had time to settle.

I've tried straightening this photo, but can't do much about the blurring -sorry!
