Seal Rescue

Another beautiful day down at Donna Nook and the sky was the deepest blue. This small white pup at the left was abandoned after the wind and surge last week and we have been watching it to see if its Mum returned to it. It is a fairly good weight but it was thought that it would benefit from being fed at the Mablethorpe Seal sanctuary until it was a little bigger. It was put on a stretcher and taken off for a bit of food and TLC!
Look North came to visit today and interviewed a reluctant warden!!!!!
The large white and orange 'thing' is a target that the RAF bomb in their target practice. It is usually moored at the sea edge half a mile awway but broke free in the big seas last Thursday. Also on the beach are some blue steps which landed here from Cleethorpes! These are just a grey blob on the left way out.
