On the beach

My friends were keen to help out when I said I wanted a shot at recreating the photos of the D-Day landings.

I wasn't needed at the Sheriff Court today, so we all headed down to Portobello beach, which made a fine substitute for Omaha. I'm grateful to the local barracks which kindly provided the uniforms, lending a certain authenticity to the whole affair.
