Well, nuts to that!

This year, we had our first pay rise for 5 years. My pay went up by a massive 1%, equating to 11p an hour.

Now, there are plans to: cut our sick pay, cut our annual leave, cut the number of hours in the full time working week so that we get paid for fewer hours while doing the same amount of work, and cut the number of points on the pay scale so those of us on the top point take a further pay cut.

This is the reality of working in the public sector.
