Looking up..... the Spinnaker Tower.

We went to Gunwharf Quays today which is where the Spinnaker Tower is in Portsmouth.

The tower is situated right at Portsmouth Harbour entrance where all the ferries and Naval ships sail in and out of. When I have more time after the Christmas festivities are over I will take a trip to the top armed with my camera and get some shots from up there.
The view from up there is nothing but stunning over Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth and Southsea.
We did not have the time today to go up there unfortunately.

To make the shot a little more interesting I stood slightly to one side at the base and took in the whole tower so one can see the marvellous dimensions of the structure. Several shots were taken and this one covers all I wanted to portray.

There are lots of outlet shops and many Eateries and large Restaurants. They choice of them all spoils you.
Needless to say all shops were busy and even the eateries were at that time of the morning about 11 am.

It was nice to get out together again and enjoy the scenery on our doorstep.
