Quod oculus meus videt

Chillington Parkland

There was just a hint of mist in the air as I drove to work this morning. I was hopeful of some diffuse sunlight but in the end the sun never broke through the low cloud on the horizon; as the sun rose this cloud made its way towards me, resolutely blocking the sun.

The conditions did, however offer up this scene across the parkland of Chillington Hall. I often visit this area on the way into work and I liked the way the mist separated these two groups of trees from the other trees further back in the scene.
