May The Odds Be Ever in Your Favour...

Jenny started her new job today at a law firm in Seaford today (we get about a bit don't we!?). Woop, well done!

I acquired this Mockingjay pin from a secret source & I gave it to Jen as present for doing so well & as a sort of good luck charm for her to wear. I am very pleased to say she liked it! We are big fans of the Hunger Games. I am currently engrossed in the first chapters of Catching Fire, & Jen is reading Mockingjay. They're such exciting reads & it's quite nerve-racking to think what is going to happen when you turn the page, not least when you move onto the next chapter or book!

The pin would have complimented our Birthmas celebrations a couple of weeks back quite nicely thinking about it. We were firing a fully functioning, wooden bow & arrows (with suckers!) down our flat hallway, not to mention an all out turf war equipped with Nerf guns with lazer sights & a mini elastic band shooter with so much ammunition.
