PINK GROYNE

Normally pink in December
is wind chill on exposed flesh.
It's dark in the morning going to work.
It's dark at night coming home.
Struggling to adjust to balmy days and sunshine.
Looking for that factor 30 I bought years ago!
Have started ironing my Hawaiin shirts
and Bermuda shorts,
in preparation for Christmas day.
Just like living in Australia.

Well maybe I exaggerate slightly
but still double figures and no frost.
We seem to be back in the sunset realm.
