My, What Big Eyes You Have

It was drizzling this morning, but then it cleared, and the sun came out. It was quite warm, and all the buzzy things came out!

I'm not sure what this is; it looks a bit like a hoverfly, but I'm not sure. It had a gold 'disc' on it's back, which shone brightly in the sun.

I would have liked to get a closer shot, but it kept flying away, so I had to get the shot quick.

I was up at 3.30am this morning putting Bertie out, and trying to get Boogle to come in. I've hardly seen him since Pippy and the kittens arrived. Then I had to change the dirtbox. There I was in my dressing gown and gumboots, shovelling dirt, in the middle of the night.

I'll be pleased when everything's calmed down.
