Pup

Today I was lucky enough to visit the Scottish SPCA's wildlife centre in Clackmannanshire. (It was work, honest!)

A fascinating place - they're set up to deal with birds, seals, hedgehogs, foxes, deer, badgers, swans, ducks and whatever else fate brings in.

They're just at the start of seal season - the new pups are born in winter. This little chap was very young (you can tell by the fur colour) and a bit poorly - hence the heat lamp. Oddly it is nowhere near the sea, but apparently seals are good travellers…
