Hanging out with friends

Today we had a treat when S came to visit from the city. Wee B loves it when we have guests over and he was so excited to be able to have someone new to play with (mummy is not all that exciting you see).

Despite the lack of a nap due to excitement he was a very good boy. He played nicely, behaved really well when we went out for lunch and did not have to be taken away from the Christmas tree more than twice.

We did take a small side trip to the park, bundled up against the cold. There was fun on the slide, the swings, in the sand pit and the bark chips.

All the excitement of the day lead to a mammoth dinner being consumed, before play time, story time and then bed.
