Sunset with Geese

A good friend and neighbour died today. He was a kind and gentle man, a great dog lover and a boat person too, ex royal navy. He always had dogs of his own, including bearded collies, and was particularly fond of Ollie. The sort of chap who always had a biscuit or two about his person!
He had only been ill for a month or so and he will be very greatly missed by us all. Village life won't be the same without him . . .
