Lower Slaughter

After a quick stroll around Stratford we headed into the Cotswolds. We were able to. See beautiful rolling fields - or would have been able to except for the fog and mist that lasted ALL day. At times visibility was down to 20-30 meters!

We stopped at Morton on Marsh, Stow on the Wold, Upper and Lower Slaughters and finally Bourton on the Water beforee driving to Oxford.

We stopped at Lower Slaughter at the Old Mill for lunch. This photo is the view from the river side tables (we ate inside in the warm). Lunch was delicious ( the owner had to keep going to the kitchen to take the cakes out of the oven).

We are about to head out to find a pub in Oxford for dinner.
