View from Chartwell

We had an errand to run in Sevenoaks so combined it with lunch at Chartwell (steak and ale pie) and Alan was delighted to see from above the fog gathered in the valley of his home town Tonbridge as these low lying fogs were a feature of his growing days. Beyond you can see he low line of hills.
There was a little exhibition of presents given to Churchill and the many thank you or kindly rejection letters written by secretaries.
Toast and boiled egg for tea!
