Bruce Dern should definitely be in the running for an Oscar after seeing his performance in the film we saw tonight called Nebraska! Poignant and funny in equal measures. Even better watching it at a cinema that was quiet - no rustling of crisp packets or that annoying sucking on the straw for the minutest little dribble at the bottom of the coke carton!
