Despite feeling that I am in control of the Festivities I can't help running around at 100 miles an hour just now. Other things have brought a desire to keep busy, not stop, push on.
I can't help but be excited by all this steel. My love of large structures combined with my favourite looking up and finding blue skies and then the tinge of red from the carriages make this such a pleasing image for me. There is so much to admire here. This year's big wheel looks so different in construction and from a safety point of view it almost feels like I might be able to step on and enjoy the ride. We will see. Before that happens my girl and husband need to return and that's a while off yet.
I am in the process of testing Christmas Yule Log's just now. I want to make one for Christmas day. These things cannot be entered into lightly, especially when they pose a change from the traditions of the house. So today I made Nigella's. It contains absolutely no flour and a lot of white powder which thankfully was icing sugar. It tastes quite divine, if a little sweet. I will keep up the search and experimentation.
