Experiments in Pen

My new lens adaptor arrived this morning. It let's me use my original Olympus OM prime lenses on the E-P1. So after our visitors left this afternoon we popped off to the beach to give it a try out.

Unfortunately the weather deteriorated over the day and became very misty with a lot of sea spray and low cloud, so not the best conditions for a lens trial.

So here we have 200mm lens on the E-P1 at around f11 @ 100th sec set on a tripod. This makes the lens the equivalent of a 400mm on a 35mm camera.

I've still a lot of problems to overcome, focussing getting more control but not a bad first effort on a lens that's 30 years old.
