Lots of people leaving flowers and messages for Nelson Mandela at this statue on Lothian Road, which commemorates those who lost their lives fighting Apartheid. Genuinely touching, unlike the hypocritical hot air we've been getting from many of our politicians. Good piece from Mark Steel on that here.
