Homeless chatting

Nothing personal, don't mean to be judgmental, but how does this assumed homeless man, sitting in the park with what appear to be all his belongings, afford a cell phone? Even a disposable one? He chatted for at least 30 minutes. Better than the homeless who can afford cigarettes I guess. My attempt at being a voyeur...not too shabby.
