"Abbey Gardens" Bury St Edmunds

The Abbey gardens in all of it's late summer glory.

This blip is dedicated to a dear friend and neighbour; Peter Manning,
Peter died just over 2 years ago from a long illness bravely fought.

He had spent most of his working life with the BSE parks department and in particular the "Abbey Gardens".

He always informed Mrs OE and I when the gardens were worth a look and who was arriving in Bury for a visit.

Peter never asked for anything in life but was always ready to give.
He was a true friend and one of life's gentlemen.
