Graduation Take Two

Now officially a Master of Science in Sustainable Water Management; Pass with Distinction!

Wonderful day in Lancaster with my family and friends. This is me with my daddy :)

My postgraduate graduation ran much more smoothly that my undergraduate one! Arrived in Lancaster for 1pm and immediately bumped into Ben Hands, Jenny, Josh and Snorro on their way down to training. So glad I got to see them :)

Picked up my robes, had a few pictures and then walked over to Barker House Farm for the Faculty of Science and Technology celebratory drinks. Sarah picked up her award for best industrial dissertation and it was great to meet up with everybody else.

Walked back over to the great hall for the ceremony. I was luckily alphabetically placed between Joe and Mike which made it much more entertaining. Many speeches and an honorary degree for one incredibly clever and successful lady later we were up on stage to shake hands with the Vice-Chancellor. No-one fell over, always a bonus!

After the ceremony there was chance for a few more photos before handing in the robes and heading in to town for food. My family joined Jenny's for a meal at Marco's. It was really lovely :) Turns out my Dad had organised a Corporate event at the Hawthorns for members of the finance staff for academic institutions in the Midlands at the Man City game only last week and Jen's Dad was one of people who attended! Small small world! And as they both massive Albion fans there was plenty to talk about.

Arrived home in the early hours after a tiring but brilliant day!! Thanks Lancaster, I have had the best 15 months as a student of the University, met some amazing people and I will take some awesome memories from that place :)
