Haphazard

Trapped in Suburbia

I pass this building most days. It's at odds with the leafy, residential area that surrounds it - the area where I live. Sometimes I look at it and want to be on the other side of the wire, sheltering and cut off in the small warehouse with a ladder to the sky. But then I want to be so many places other than where I am.

"There is an eternal landscape, a geography of the soul; we search for its outlines all our lives." Josephine Hart
