Christmas in Smelly Alley

A quick wander down Reading's infamous Smelly Alley with it's fishmonger, butcher and greengrocer, all increasingly rare sights.
The tempting mound of chestnuts butting up to heaped pomegranates drew my eye for a seasonal blip.
Sadly my family dislike chestnuts and only like pomegranates without all the faff..but I love how it looks.
