REMEMBERING LOVED ONES
When we were first married, 45 years ago, Mr. HCB's parents gave us this Nativity, made and hand painted by their next door neighbour's daughter, who was born a day after Mr. HCB. It has been brought out faithfully and enjoyed every year since. We have added a few angels, which we bought whilst in Singapore, and the angel card behind was sent to us nearly 30 years ago by a friend and her husband, both of whom have now died, as have Mr. HCB's parents, so it is good to remember all of them at this time of year.
Enjoy O Holy Night, sung by Celtic Woman.
“Want to keep Christ in Christmas?
Feed the hungry,
clothe the naked,
forgive the guilty,
welcome the unwanted,
care for the ill,
love your enemies,
and do unto others as you would have done unto you.”
