Utensils, doubled

Tomorrow is the annual Biology Dept. potluck Xmas lunch. Quite the spread of food and drink, and a complete write-off of a day. Each year I try and bring a different dessert, and this year I decided upon "T"'s apple cheese cake with caramel/rum drizzle.

The task of making a dessert also coincides with a Flickr community that I belong to called Macro Mondays. Each week there's a challenge, and results are posted the following Monday. This week's challenge is utensils.

So, before making the cheesecake I set about to capture something cool and macro. It took a while to light so that the ceiling of the kitchen and flashes weren't reflected, but I like the result. Hopefully the cheesecake turns out as well.
