A long day

The good:

Had an incredible day pottering about London and my name got pulled out of the ticket lottery for front row seats for The Book of Mormon! Result!

The bad:

I lost my bank card and my flight got cancelled because of the fog. No hotels with availability nearby or flights from Heathrow free for the next day. Had to book another flight from Gatwick first thing and bought a ticket to get the bus to Gatwick from Heathrow.

The ugly:

They overbooked the bus to Gatwick and I took pity on a guy trying to make his way to Chile after flights being cancelled to see his family, giving him the last seat. I am still waiting for my citizenship award, should be here any moment now.

Rolled into Gatwick at 1am, got a hotel in Crawley at 1.30am, into bed at 2am, set the alarm for 5am.

(The not so ugly...had an interesting chat with Simon in the bus - hi Simon if you ever read this! Haha)
