The Arts and Crafts Portion

It is the part I like best about any Holiday. Halloween and pumpkins, Birthdays and gift wrapping but mostly decorations and Christmas. The light is so awful on these, Try as I might the hot spots on these completely washed out the color. There was no flash it is just the terrible light today. Perhaps when I hang them on my Christmas tree I can find better lighting. This was taken with an outside setting but all it picked up was the green and left the colors of these Christmas balls in the dust. The finish on them is matte Any Ideas?
