It's like having the road to myself

A winter 5am start for a 220 mile journey south means 2 things:

You only have to share the road with a few trucks (who are mainly going the other way), and you get to see the sun come up.

I even managed to snap a pic of my view over the dashboard showing both :)


Thanks to 3G access to a music server, my aural entertainment for the journey was like stepping back 15 years... Live - Throwing Copper, Pearl Jam - Ten, and Counting Crows. At that time of the morning, in the dark, no one can see or hear you singing away at high volume (Thank goodness!), so the trip passes more quickly than you expect it to.
