Year 40, day 39

If you were for some unfathomable reason to compile a list of people most likely to undertake a leprechaun-themed craft project, my name wouldn't feature very highly.

And yet, there it is. Fuckin' leprechaun, appliquéd and embroidered onto a baby's pinafore.

There are very few people for whom I'd do such a thing, and one of them is my beyond-fabulous mother-in-law. It's a present for her new great-niece in Canada.

I grew quite attached to it, in the end. It was fun. Just don't ask me to make another one...
